Oh my yummy goodness!!! The Sweet Tooth had an amazing new cupcake today!! It didn't have a name but it was lemony heaven. Light, fluffy lemon cupcake with a lemon filling, a layer of white chocolate ganache topped with frosting and white chocolate shavings!!! Like I said...HEAVEN. The Sweet Tooth is great anytime and the service is always fantastic! Don't go buy cupcakes from the franchises...visit The Sweet Tooth.

I got some cupcakes and mini cheesecakes from here. The cheesecakes were not that great, and there was not really any crust. There was a small crust, yes, but it did not really add anything to the cheesecake. I got 4 different cupcakes. Two were very good, and the other two were not so great. I got a double chocolate cupcake, and the frosting was very hard, the cupcake was dry. I remember one of the cupcakes being very good. My idea of this place is a lot of inconsistency. I do not have much confidence that they can make anything besides cupcakes.

So disappointed with my order of decorated sugar cookies I picked up today!! They were for my granddaughter's first birthday celebration and I paid up front. Never again! The cookies were not iced the color I ordered and the shape was not uniform and looked awful. When I placed the order I initially balked at the price, as they weren't really decorated, but just iced. I was told the order would be to my satisfaction. When I told one of the co-owners of my dissatisfaction, she just replied, "sorry". I will dispute the charge with my credit card company. I would not recommend this bakery to anyone based on the poor quality of their work and poor customer service.

The only reason we went here was a pair of free cupcake coupons from a 5k. We had a bit of an ordeal finding the place, and the fact that it's hidden in an apple orchard didn't help much. Lots of trees. And a liquor store next door. There weren't any other customers, and the shop's design efforts were pretty mediocre. It seemed to have a lot of potential, but a lot of little things could have used attention. There were two random tshirts hanging in the corner, and it had a strange, warehouse quality. I don't know how long they've been at that location, so that could explain some of it. There were a ton of cupcake options, and most of them had clever titles, but the ones we got were just okay. Nothing to complain about, but also nothing to bring us back again. After we ordered and got our snacks, we ended up having to ask about the chair/table situation so we could sit down. The cashier was very polite and conversational, but somehow it seemed like she didn't expect anyone to come in. Hm. Apparently, they've been on Cupcake Wars, so I doubt a yelp review is too much of problem for them if they read it. BUT STILL. They must be doing something right.

This place isn't worth your time or money. The cupcakes are very dry and crumbly. We tried it twice and will never go back. There are much better cupcake places in Kansas City.

Great cupcakes, a lot of heart and soul goes into each one and it shows.

I took the Jamaican Sensation, Life by Chocolate and Snickerdoodle cupcakes to a family dinner. The Jamaican Sensations disappeared almost instantly - and being as their vegan that says a lot!!! The Life by Chocolate and Snickerdoodles were quite amazing also. All were light which made it to easy to keep eating them! And even though the flavors were true and rich, the cakes didn't dry you out. My order was also a bit last minute; but they still treated me like a friend and accommodated my request! I will be ordering these cupcakes again!

I hate giving bad reviews, but it's an honest one. I went in there about a month ago because I had gotten a coupon for $1.50 cupcake. The place was small, but seemed clean. It didn't seem like they had too much of a selection. I got their flavor of the week, which was chocolate chip cookie dough, my husband got a mint flavored one, I also got a lemon cupcake and 3 cookies, one peanut butter, one chocolate chip and the other sugar. First all, the cupcakes are smallish. The cake was dry on all 3 of the cupcakes. Neither my husband or myself finished them. The cookies were nothing special either. Honestly, it all tasted like it came from a box mix and something I could do at home...only mine would taste better. I believe their regular price for the cupcakes are $2.50. I would not pay regular price for their goods. I even think the $1.50 was pushing it. If you want really good, moist and flavorful cupcakes that are huge...you can pay $3.25 and go to Cupcake A La Mode. In my opinion, they are the best cupcake place around. The Sweet Tooth doesn't even come close. I'm giving it 2 stars only because the lady behind the counter was very nice and helpful.

A few days ago, I commissioned The Sweet Tooth cupcakery to make some custom made cupcakes for our first anniversary. I was wanting Hawaiian themed cupcakes with seashells, which is what we had on our wedding day in Hawaii. E-mail response was quick and they were very professional. Unlike other cupcake makers in Kansas City, The Sweet Tooth worked with me and was happy to help. Pricing was extremely reasonable and the dozen cupcakes were ready for pick up as soon as they opened. The custom cupcakes were very cute and actually looked better than the cupcakes we had on our wedding day. The seashells were of varied designs and the cupcakes were pretty tasty. My wife loved them. I recommend The Sweet Tooth for all your cupcaking/desert needs.

Not usually a big cupcake fan but these are pretty good. My wife likes their facebook page and the updates and sales they run on there. Not much I can add that other people haven't said already. I'll just add my photo. Definitely worth a stop in for a treat!

Today there are 16 available varieties. Running the gamut, from fruit to veggie...don't panic! Carrot is still considered a vegetable. Chocolate and vanilla. Interesting flavor combinations like, Jamaican Sensation (mango cake with pomegranate butter cream), Stolen Cow (with cookie dough), and Cherry Meltdown (chocolate with cherry filling and frosting). The cake is moist and dense, but the flavors are slightly muted. I could tell that the cake was orange, but had to assume it was Mango as promised. The cupcakes are chilled, which only intensifies the flavor muting issues. The size of the cupcakes are on the smallish side (the price is also commensurate with size) and the emphasis is in the frosting. The ratio of frosting to cake is heavy on frosting. Those among you with a frosting fetish, check your mouth...you're drooling! The cake freaks will be left wanting...and I'm a wantin' woman! Marie Antoinette and I agree....let them eat cake!

I love cupcake shops. They are intriguing and yummy. That saying, I gave Sweet Tooth 5 stars. If it were on the decor alone, it'd be 4. It's a plain little shop on south 7 highway, in the Palo Shopping Center in Blue Springs. It's run by the now infamous Trevor and Amy, who I discovered on Facebook a few months ago.. I found out about Sweet Tooth long before the Cupcake Wars the other night. I'm only around Blue Springs infrequently, and that happened to be today. Plain in decor, huge in cupcakes. (and cookies and cake pops and mini cheese cakes). I appreciate cupcakes that aren't simply a white or chocolate cake with flavored frosting. (ahem...a certain shop in KC???). And Sweet Tooth Cupcakes more than succeeded my expectations. All the cupcakes from the Cupcake Wars show were available, plus so many others I had a hard time ordering. My goodness there are alot of flavors. I ordered carrot cake with cream cheese frosting, s'mores (chocolate cupcake with graham cracker and marshmallow butter cream with a piece of a chocolate bar added). Chocolate cherry which I might not have the correct name, it is filled with cherries and has white buttercream on top, It might be one from the television show. And I also experimented with the Jasmine cupcake. They have different flavors all the time. I ate part of the evidence in the shop, ordering a pecan shortbread cupcake for myself.. Trevor walked out from the kitchen, and said, "How's your cupcake?" With my mouth full of pecan cupcake (on the top, it had a tiny shortbread cookie and a pecan, on pecan buttercream frosting). I couldn't say, "The frosting is crusted perfectly with about an inch and a half high, so the creamy inside is tasty and kind of like it's whipped like with the Kitchen aide attachment whisk. The flavor really tastes like pecan frosting. There's not too much to steal away the taste of the pecan cake. The shortbread cookie is just the right size to fit on the dollop of frosting. I like how there's about a centimeter of cake showing all around equally under the frosting. And the pecan on top is adorable." So, I saved it for this review. I just wrote nearly a whole paragraph describing frosting which is a near passion of mine. Get the frosting perfect, with cakes that aren't boring, and get 5 stars from me.

Love this place. Everything I've had has been excellent! The sugar cookies are delicious and I'm a picky sugar cookie person! Everyone is always kind when we go in and truly appreciate your business.

I don't really get the cupcake craze. But I have to admit the peanut butter fudge, vanilla vanilla, and Twix cupcakes here have my attention! Decadent!

We just moved to the Blue Springs area from Indy and found this little place on the Internet. We went in the other day during the afternoon time. The one employee that was there was not very inviting but they were still nice. We mentioned we had never been there before but still no explanation about anything. My hubby had German chocolate cupcake and I had a chocolate peanut butter cupcake. I thought the cake actually tasted a little old. It wasn't very moist but the frosting was great. The little chunks of peanut butter inside the cake helped out a lot. We want to come back and try some different ones to see if they are better. I know I've been to a really great cupcake place before and they had off days. We will be back!

We've since tried other flavors so I'm updating my review with 5 starts. They really are excellent cupcakes. The chocolate salted caramel and peanut butter/chocolate (Peanut Butter Dream, I think)... Holy Moses, so yummy. Cake texture is perfect; flavor is intense; frostings are complimentary. Deliciousness.

The Sweet Tooth has opened a storefront since I posted my original review. I love that you can now mix and match all their great flavors and take home as many as you want. They are always adding new flavors and items to the menu, which means there is a NEW reason to stop by just about every week.

I tried several flavors my first time. All were great. Bought a dozen cookies. Both peanut butter and chocolate chip. The chocolate chip cookies were my favorite.

Had not heard of them until they purchase 3GC. I then saw them on groupon, so I went for it. Bought an assortment and loved everyone. (Yes, I took a bite of each). As with any cupcake, room temp is the best way to eat, so I had to plan ahead when deciding to pull one out of the fridge for a bite. Can't wait for them to give 3GC chocolate cherry dr pepper a whirl. My fave of what I tried was the Choco mint. Had mint chips in the bottom. I WILL be a regular!

Found The Sweet Tooth online while looking for reasonable prices for my daughter's wedding. Once I saw their website and talked to Trevor I stopped looking. What genuine good people he and Amy are. Wonderful, personal service and amazing cupcakes! Couldn't believe how delish they are and I don't have a "sweet tooth". You can't go wrong with this company! Just send them an email and you'll be hooked before you taste the cakes.
